"Movers and shakers" is a term often used to refer to business leaders, community builders and those who have made great accomplishments in their individual lives or careers. Some have been blessed to have even taken a further step to plough their fruits from their triumphs back to their communities, financially and/or otherwise.
This page aspires to acknowledge and CELEBRATE our very own, home-brewed Movers and Shakers, who have made (past) or are making (present) noteworthy influences in the public space or in some field of endeavour.
Each month, we will try to profile one Mover or Shaker, either by viewer's choice or by the Editorial Team. YOU LOVED HIM IN ‘COLOUR MINE’ NOW NDUMISO LINDI BRINGS HIS NEW SHOW: ‘DILUTED PEOPLE’ - A comedy of Diversities
“Ndumiso Lindi” is a brilliant and genuinely funny South African comedian.
His intuition and intellect give him a firm grasp of his nation’s collective funny bone, and so he appeals to a huge spectrum of the population” – says producer John Vlismas.
His second one-man show, “Diluted People”, follows on the success of his first, “Colour Mine”.
The new show offers an intimate look at Lindi’s life story, infused with his infectious, feel-good sense of humour. He is expert at capturing characters and moments directly from life around him, and sketching himself for the amusement of his fans.
“Diluted People", promises to be a roller coaster ride through this talented young man’s mind - offering hysterical takes on traditional values, family, culture shock, democracy and current affairs.
“We have come a long way as a country, but luckily for comedians, we still have a long way to go,” says the dynamic jester with a glint in his eye.
This Zwelitsha, Zone 10 native is bringing his latest offering “Diluted People” for one night only on Saturday 25th of July to The Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City.
